Economically, Krotoszyn is one of the best developed municipalities of Wielkopolska. Clays and various loams are found near the surface, these valuable raw materials are used in the production of building materials. The economic picture of Krotoszyn is dominated by machine manufacturing, building trades, light industry and food production. Modern telecommunications devices link the town and municipality with the rest of the world. A well-developed technical infra-structure (roads, sewers, gas, and sewage treatment) provide excellent conditions for economic development.
