Hospitality, openness, toleration - these attributes allow Krotoszyn to work together with organizations abroad: with the municipality of Brummen in Holland, the municipality of Mejszagola in Lithuania, with the French town of Fontenay La Comte, and the Municipal Union of Dierdorf, Germany. Proof of close links with these Sister Cities is the Friendship Park, currently in development. Several Krotoszyn Friendship Societies conduct various cooperative activities: Polish-Dutch, Polish-French, Polish-German, as well as the Polish-American Society.

Our international cooperation lasting for many years, has been aworded some prizes and notices which have been given to our City during last few years.
In 2000 Krotoszyn was given The Diploma of Council of Europe in Strasbourg. 
The next year we were given The Flague of Council of Europe.The Cremony took place on 4th of September 2001 in the City Council Square In Krotoszyn.
On 28th of April 2005 The Council of Europe decided to honour us with another stage of European Prezes. This time it was Honour European Plate. The main cremony will take place In Krotoszyn on 30th of July 2005. So far only 9 Polish cities have been given that prize.
