Krotoszyn can take pride in the historical buildings
which have been long-time features in local history books:

erected around 1689, with
an 8-sided baroque tower,
rebuilt in the Neo-Renaissance
style in the years 1898-99.

Sala Reprezentacyjna Ratusza

  

St. John the Baptist Church

built from 1592-1597 in the late-Renaissance Basilica
style with three naves.

wooden built around 1572 as a hospital church, completely restored in 1813.

  

The Church of St. Mary Magdalene

erected in 1755 on the site of an older church existing
there at least since the 13th century. This wood framed
building was renovated in 1830.

The Church of Saints Peter and Paul

built in the years 1767-1774, likely according
to the design of architect Marcin Frantz,
with a two-span nave and a presbytery
enclosed by a round dome.

 


The Galecki Palace

built in the baroque style in the years 1692-1700. When it was rebuilt in 1820, a late-Classical facade was added.

formerly an Evangelical church
built in the years 1788-1790
in the classical style in a circular shape.

  

"Krotoszanka"

the oldest preserved house in Krotoszyn
from the second half of the 18th century.
